I’m a storyteller.

For the past decade in Los Angeles, I’ve told stories as a writer, director, and actor.

As an actor, I started out performing at regional theaters across the country, doing improv at Upright Citizens Brigade, and popping up in sketches on Conan. From there, I appeared in a few movies, guest-starred on all your aunt’s favorite shows — Grey’s Anatomy, Bones, and all the NCISes. I acted in more than 75 commercials and one of them, with Aretha Franklin, was nominated for an Emmy. My aunt was psyched.

Along the way, I started writing and directing more of the work myself. At Condé Nast, I created content for Golf Digest and GQ. I’ve also written — and occasionally directed — branded entertainment and commercials for Coke, Nintendo, Walmart, Sprite, UCB, and others.

In 2023, I was recruited onto a U.S. Senate campaign, and I’ve helped lead creative for Democratic candidates ever since: speeches, video, email, social — all of it in the candidate’s own voice and usually on a same-day deadline. My work on Sherrod Brown’s campaign launch won a Reed Award in 2025. I also lead creative for nonprofits including MD Anderson Cancer Center and Americares.

The medium changes, but the process hasn’t: find the voice, find the humanity, make something interesting.

I’m originally from Denver, Colorado, and a graduate of Baylor University. I live in LA with my wife and toddler, where I spend my free time ranking the city’s best pizza places, exploring new playgrounds, and playing shortstop in a way-too-competitive adult amateur baseball league.
